I owe an unrepayable debt to many of the other teachers with whom I have had the good fortune to study.

Through Namgyal Rinpoche I met Lama Chime, and in 1980 I moved to Perth to study with him. A group of us under the direction of Lama Chime built the Origins Retreat and Study Centre at Balingup, Western Australia. Many of us also worked with Lama Chime in the collaborative sculpture studio Shaping WA, doing some installation contracts, and much dharma exploration through working with form.

I have studied and attended meditation retreats with many other lamas in the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, including (just some of the really significant teachers) Bero Chyentse Rinpoche, Bonnie Ross, Cecily Kwiat, Tarchin Hearn, and Lama Ole Nuydahl. More recently, I have studied in other meditation traditions with teachers such as Balayogi Maharaj and ShantiMayi.

Finally, thank you to my students who always teach me in unexpected ways :-)
