Feedback on individual sessions

I would like to thank you for your kind support and attention. I am profoundly touched by some of our discussions. The process is very new (and sometimes difficult) to me as I am not used to talk about myself, and share very personal feelings. Beyond my personal issues, the teachings (counseling with you but also the meditation) resonates deeply in me, as an gentle invitation to experience life differently, and feel more alive.

Feedback on retreats

I just wanted to thank you for the meditation course - I really did get a lot out of it and have had many self-realisations in meditation.
Tanya

The main benefit I got from the retreat was understanding that the teachings will fulfill my desire for a path to step out. This stepping process I know will give me strength in life.

In regards to the mini retreat, I found it most enjoyable. It was nice see how the work can be richly and diversely engrained right throughout the day and not just confined to sitting and meditating. As always I was impressed by the quality and the depth of the teachings and the positive effects they never fail to have on my being.

During these retreats Mana's expert advice and guidance has enabled me to deepen, and explore more fully within my meditation practice. Along with my normal meditation practice these retreats have resulted in life in general becoming more meaningful and joyful.

Mana's instructions provide for a number of meditation approaches and techniques. The dharma work is not at all arduous during these retreats despite reasonably long days of meditation, walking meditation and Dharma talks.'

Feedback on classes

I have much enjoyed the classes so far, it is a weekly pleasure and inspiration. Thank you very much for your advice and guidance in the sessions, and for taking the time to ask after me. I look forward to Thursday.

I'm very happy that you are guiding the meditation group at the WA School of Yoga.  Having participated with this group since its inception, I have gained a deeper awareness of my self and the connections between my Self and the world.  That is, improved spiritual well-being.  The meditation has enhanced the tapestry of my being especially in the largest part of my life... the yoga practice and teaching.
Maurice McCann, WA School of Yoga

My English writing is not very good… I feel very lucky to have come in conatact with you and your teachings. From the teachings I get a lot. They give me a deeper understanding and awareness. Like getting more pieces of the puzzle of true knowledge into place. It makes me realise even more that this is what I’m here for, and inspires me to go deeper.
You have a very clear and pleasant way of explaining things, and give everyone the chance to participate. Even when I sometimes get there very tired and have had a bad day, I feel energised and inspired again after the class.
Your pleasant, loving presence and helping, caring character make you a wonderful teacher. I hope to be your student for a long time, where ever I may be.

I have discovered considerable benefits in my daily life since joining the Shenton Park meditation group two years ago.  The most notable changes I have found include greater clarity of mind, a sense of calmness, and an improved ability to manage stress. My relationships with others and overall approach to life also seem more positive.
Mana (Chotan) has introduced me to a number of meditation approaches and techniques.  I enjoy his creative and open approach to teaching meditation, as well as the wealth of knowledge and experience he has to offer. I also appreciate the compassion that exists within our group, allowing me to freely ask questions and further explore issues that arise in my practice or regarding the dharma.

I have been meditating with Mana Waite for three years.
Mana’s approach to students is both respectful and open.
He has a wealth of knowledge on meditation which he uses to individually tailor personal practices for students, and individually answer questions they may have.
Meditating with Mana has led me to develop a daily meditation practice which has resulted in my becoming calmer and less reactive.
It has also resulted in some unexpected but positive changes in my life.  I have become more engaged in life, more connected to nature and more self caring.
As a result, my daily practice has become an important part of my life.

I really get a lot from class and am continually impressed by your presence. You have many qualities that I aspire towards and look forward to striving for them under your tutelage.
