Music has always had an important place in my heart with its power to move me deeper into myself, heal, move through difficult emotions and uplift and inspire me.

I started early with singing a lot with my grandmother. Later I sang in the church children's choir and girls' choir. I decided to follow in my sister's footsteps and study at a special music high school which were some fantastic golden years in my life. I continued studying music science at the University in Sweden where I grew up.

Continuing studying more dance, drama and alternative healing therapies my active music phase moved more into the background. But when my deeper spiritual search took me to India visiting different masters and ashrams I came in close contact with music and especially singing devotional music again.

My experience of being totally uplifted from these simple mantra songs that I learned there made a profound impact on me and my life. I started to realize more consciously the power of just simply singing the name of god/goddess in different ways. It made my whole body buzzing in bliss at times. The vibrations of this words/mantras/sounds in combination with the music was a simple yet profound path to connect with god and the inner self as well as it brings deep feelings of love, peace and connection. Sometimes the singing takes over you and you are just being sung like an empty vessel for this inspirational sound moving through you.

I'm especially grateful to my masters Babaji and Shantimayi on this journey. Although my personal experiences of this came through the Indian spiritual tradition I know that this power and depth of devotional music is the same in any authentic spiritual tradition.

My devotion, life and singing is a worship to that divine nature, infinite mystery, spirit, the One residing in all, beyond all borders of countries, religions or mental divisions.
My love for playing with Spirit is to offer inspiration and through the music to connect, share and dive deeper into this divine truth which we are – to bring forth the light within and spread it in the world who so desperately need it at this time.
